Les Étrangers plot

Since he came out as gay, young Selim, a Muslim of Algerian descent living in Marseille, has had to deal with incomprehension and intolerance in a strict religious family circle. At his wits' end, he reports as a volunteer to the French peacekeepers who are deployed in the peace force in Bosnia. But here too he is confronted with prejudices. He is bullied and insulted by both the other soldiers and the officers.
