Les Brigands plot

"Sehr frei nach Schiller"

When Karl Escher gets out of prison, no one shows up to welcome him. However, he has been imprisoned for assuming only the responsibility of the “affair” to protect his relatives. At the same time, his brother Franz is in the process of negotiating a merger with a rival bank. He supposedly wants to save the bank “Fields” from the crisis, but is really only out to take full control and rejects his brother Karl. Behind bars, Karl has met the “The Elder”. With his gang, they plan to conquer the bank. Amalia, Karl's sister, sees through him and tries to convince him to rejoin the family circle...
