Les Bois Noirs plot

Violette, a beautiful and ambitious actress, meets the handsome stranger Gustave. After a short intense romance, they marry and move in with Gustave's mother. When Gustave's brother Bastien comes to visit unexpectedly, he turns out to have a great attraction for the brand new bride. Gustave is driven mad with jealousy, which is the prelude to a series of tragic events.
