Les Amours Secrètes plot
Jean, an old Jewish man, examines the diary his sister Sarah kept during the German occupation of France in 1942. Sarah was young, beautiful and in love with Hans, a German officer who, under pressure from his father, joined the SS. had entered service. Hans rejected the Nazi ideology and secretly provided the Jews with false identity documents. To avoid prosecution, Sarah changed her name to Louise Berger and hid in the secret annex of Huguette, a cabaret singer. Despite the danger, Hans visited Louise and their love blossomed. But with the arrival of Michel, a wanted French resistance fighter, the atmosphere in the Secret Annex changed. The young couple was forced to flee. This forced Jean to intervene, with dramatic consequences.
