Légua plot

In an old country house in the north of Portugal, Ana helps her friend Emília, the elderly housekeeper. The latter is determined to keep the empty house in order for the owners who are never there. As the seasons turn, Mónica, Ana's daughter, questions her mother's choices and the three generations of women search for where they belong in a world that is fading fast, where the cycle of life is renewed only by inevitable endings.
