Lebedyne Ozero-zona plot
The film is about a society on the brink of political and environmental collapse. A few days before his sentence ends, a man escapes from a notorious prison in the Ukraine. He takes refuge in a huge steel monument in the shape of a hammer and sickle. There he is discovered by a woman, the mother of a boy who uses the monument as his second home. When the man and the woman fall in love, the son reports the man out of jealousy. Back in prison, the man makes a suicide attempt, but thanks to a blood transfusion from a guard, he stays alive.
