Le Voyage du Père plot
The Quantin family, who live close to the Swiss border, regret not seeing Marie-Louise, their eldest daughter. She left for Lyon to work as a hairdresser. Under the pressure of his wife, the farmer, accompanied by the teacher Frédéric, whom he would like to have as a son-in-law, travels to the city. When they arrive in Lyon at the hairdressing salon where Marie-Louise works, they learn that she is no longer there. But that's not the only surprise.
