Le Voyage d'Hiver plot

Adam is searching for the recent past of his Jewish family and ultimately for his own identity. His interest is sparked by his uncle Salomon. The latter works as a spy for Russia and takes advantage of the assignment to slip under the Iron Curtain on his own accord and die with his kin like an old, wounded animal. He completely confuses Adam by insinuating that he is not his uncle but his father.
