Le Voleur et la Menteuse plot

Suzanne Henson is a costumer on the film; she was fired on set. Paul Salomon is a thief, who has escaped from the jail. In a harbor on the Channel he waits for a boat that will take him along. Suzanne misses her train. She had bumped into Paul earlier that day. He joins her at the table in the restaurant. She agrees that he joins the table and they have dinner together. Paul starts talking and talks about his life as a villain - it's too bad to be true. Suzanne comes up with a story (from the movie) starring her that sounds so real, it must be true. The two really like each other, especially when Suzanne discovers that Paul was telling the truth. They have a wonderful, rambunctious romantic night, but their happiness is short-lived as cop Jeff is on Paul's heels.
