Le Soleil en Face plot

A successful writer in a crisis of inspiration has withdrawn with wife and acquaintances in a Portuguese fishing village. His environment tries to hide his incurable cancer from him and to make his last days as pleasant as possible. He finally finds out the truth and resignedly awaits his death.
