Le Serment de Mado plot

A hospital boss, Mado, is about to retire. Her son-in-law will succeed her and she hopes he will continue the cancer research she has initiated. In the end, her son-in-law decides not to continue the investigation for financial reasons. Mado is blown away by this and continues to support the people in the hospital, for whom this study was one last chance at survival.
