Le Septième Juré plot

In the early 1960s, Grégoire Duval, a respectable pharmacist, murders a young woman in a fit of madness. There are no witnesses. He decides not to tell anyone. The Arab Khader Boualam, the young woman's last friend, is accused of the murder in his stead. Ironically, Duval is appointed to the jury to judge his own crime in court. Despite everything, he tries to exonerate Khader Boualam, but the latter, as a foreigner, remains the ideal target for the accusations of many people in the room with social prejudices.
