Le Secret de Ma Mère plot

On New Year's Day, a motley crew of family and friends gather in a Montréal funeral home to pay their last respects to the late seventies, Jos. The gloomy mood soon changes as those present take turns reminiscing, which are presented to the viewer as flashbacks. The anecdotes - at times absurdist and darkly comical in tone, at other times realistic and moving - together form a fragmented (love) story that makes Jos' daughter and ex-wife look at him with new eyes.
