Le Porteur de Cartable plot

Paris, March 1962. The struggle for independence in Algeria has just ended. Ten-year-old Omar is of Algerian descent but grew up in France. Raphaël is of French descent but grew up in Algeria. Because of the war, Raphaël and his family were repatriated. The boys get to know each other and despite their different backgrounds, they become friends. After the novel by Akli Tadjer.
