Le Paradis des Bêtes plot
Dominique, an overpowering and possessive father, runs the large pet shop 'Le Paradis des Bêtes' with his sister. He is also a violent man and after yet another collision with his wife Cathy, he runs away with their children, Clarisse and Ferdinand. He crosses the border and takes refuge in a large hotel in a winter sports recreation area. Once there, he tries to create a world of illusions to win back his son and daughter.
