Le Matelot 512 plot

The film is about 18-year-old Max (Penot) who drops out of his studies at the beginning of the 20th century and enlists in the navy as sailor 512. One day he is invited to the commander's family where he is served by the lovely Colette. (Laure Duthilleul) and at the same time is seduced by the wife (Dominique Sanda) of the commander (Bruno Cremer). The affair makes him a prime suspect in a murder. He is locked in an armored ship but manages to escape.
