Le Garçon Sauvage plot

Marie is a beautiful young woman, but of average intelligence. She carries on her 'gallant trade' by soliciting in the streets of Marseille. She is usually accompanied by her 12-year-old son, with whom she previously lived together in the countryside. They both get along well. The boy actually has a sort of philosophical admiration for her and is not annoyed by his mother's numerous clientele. But Marie falls in love with Monsieur Paul. He looks like a man of style, but he is lazy and drinks when he has the opportunity. Basically he is nothing more than a cowardly and greedy pimp. Soon Simon comes into conflict with him.
