Le Formiche di Mida plot

Phaeton, son of the sun god Helios, asks his father if he can ride in his sun chariot for a day. Helios dissuades him - but in vain. As the night draws to a close, he mounts his father's precious sun chariot. The four horses fly off and the chariot soon becomes uncontrollable. Phaeton deviates from the daily route between heaven and earth, with catastrophic consequences for the universe.
