"The solace for those who survived beyond the requiem for the dead."
Sung-cheol and his wife Mi-sook are slowly but surely trying to get back on track after their son is drowned while trying to save a classmate. When Sung-cheol sees the rescued boy Ki-hyun being bullied, he takes him under his wing. The grieving couple runs an interior design business and gives Ki-hyun the opportunity to learn the trade. When new facts emerge about their son's cause of death, it once again sparks a whole new tension between the three struggling individuals.
