"LINGERING SIGHS...LANGUID EYES...LURING LIPS AND LOVE"
The German Duke Karl Von Arnim works as a diplomat in Paris. Karl learns that his betrothed, the Duchess Diane des Granges, has cheated on him. He tells Diane that he would rather marry a civilian woman than her. The outraged Diane then hires Nanon del Rayon, a Spanish singer and dancer from a notorious nightclub. Diane makes Nanon pose as a well-trained genteel singer and arranges a date between Karl and Nanon.
