Jerry Strong (Ralph Graves), the son of a wealthy businessman, wants to become a painter. He hires Kay Arnold (Barbara Stanwyck) as a model and falls in love with her. Despite her less beautiful past, he would like to have a relationship with her, but his parents are of course strongly against it.
