On the border of Mexico and Guatemala, young lovers Sabina and Jovany from Honduras meet again by chance, after not seeing each other for a few years. Sabina wants to go to America and dreams of becoming a singer. Jovany commits the required atrocities to be accepted by the 'La Mara Salvatrucha' gang. Sabina and Jovany face the most adverse conditions at the border. Including modern slavery, a brothel owner, the military and drug smugglers.
