La Verde Età plot

The story is based on the friendship and affection between two nine-year-old children, a boy and a girl, the son of a smuggler and the daughter of a police officer. To win a gift for his girlfriend, the boy tries one of the games at a fair. However, he falls and is paralyzed to the waist. The girl who feels guilty for the accident stands by her best friend, but a series of events causes their two fathers to argue. The smuggler is arrested and the boy accuses his girlfriend of treason...
