La Tête de Maman plot

Lulu is 15 years old, and lives in a beautiful French village in the countryside. Her mother has been manic-depressive for as long as Lulu can remember. As Lulu begins to grow up herself, she begins to wonder why her mother is the way she is. One day when she sees an old photo where her mother looks very happy, Lulu realizes that something must have happened after this photo that changed her mother so much. Lulu begins to dig into the past to find out why her mother isn't happy.
