La Rivolta dei Mercenari plot

Friuli, Italy, during the Renaissance. The beautiful Lady Patrizia Duchessa di Rivalta is determined to marry - even if it is against her will - to the effeminate but strong Prince Stefano. This is the only way she has found to thwart the plans of her aggressive neighbor Count Keller Paroli to take her land. Fortunately, Captain Lucio di Rialto, the leader of a band of mercenaries, wants to help Patrizia and she accepts this help. Count Keller Paroli's troops are defeated when they attack the castle. Everything seems to be looking very good for Lucio: he is approached by Count Keller Paroli and Patrizia cares about him.
