"When a woman is more than a friend... when a boy is more than a child... love can be awakened too early."
Young English Wendy Sinclair (Jacqueline Bisset) is hired by a French nobleman to care for his son François (Jean-François Vlerick). François is quite a strange boy and slowly he begins to fall in love with Wendy. Meanwhile, she tries to maintain a relationship with a young Frenchman.
