La Porteuse de Pain plot

A young woman accused of a murder she did not commit is convicted and given a life sentence. She manages to flee during a fire and moves to Paris where she brings bread around to earn a living. Her children Georges and Lucie eventually find her again and go in search of proof of her innocence.
