La Noia plot
"Not with love - Not with money - They cannot satisfy themselves or each other!"
A young painter lives at the expense of his dominating mother and, convinced of his lack of talent, sinks into boredom until he falls in love with the amoral girlfriend of his deceased neighbor. She deceives him without malice and only after a suicide attempt does he find the strength to break up with her. The film is also known as "The Empty Canvas".
