La Moglie del Sarto plot
The early 1960s. After her husband's sudden death, Rosetta and her daughter Sofia try to keep the family's tailoring business afloat. Councilor Cordaro, a powerful man, wants to turn all the buildings in the medieval village into a hotel for tourists. The tailor's building, facing the sea, is central to the sinister project. Rosetta and Sofia must brave the villagers' bullying as they grapple with their newfound responsibilities.
