La Mitad de Óscar plot

Oscar works as a security guard in a salt mine where hardly anyone comes anymore and spends his days there alone. One day his routine is disrupted when Oscar learns that his grandfather has been taken to the hospital and that his sister Maria, whom he has not heard from for two years, is coming to Almería. To Oscar's dismay, she arrives with her boyfriend Jean and is pregnant. The tension between brother and sister is quiet, but clearly palpable. Maria doesn't want to say too much, but Oscar is determined to get more information.
