La Meilleure Part plot
Two engineers lead the work of a dam in the Alps. One, Bailly, has only one concern: to save time so that he gets more money afterwards. For the latter, he is ready to do anything: even endanger the safety of the workers on the construction site. The other, Perrin, is enthusiastic about the scale of the project and is much closer to the workers. He understands their problems and listens to their demands. But the management is starting to distrust him more and more.
