La Maison sous la Mer plot

Constant, a foreigner, comes to disrupt the life of Flora, who until then was happy with her husband, the miner Lucien. She falls passionately in love and regularly sees her lover in a cave, which they call the house under the sea. Lucien happens to tell Constant that he is Flora's husband. Constantly decides to leave. Flora is torn by the choice she must make between Lucien and abroad. When she sees her lover get into a boat and leave, she jumps into the sea.
