La Lunga Notte del '43 plot
During World War II, a young woman married to a man in a wheelchair has an affair with a deserter from the Italian army. They are confronted with the terror of a highly fanatical local fascist leader, who inflicts a real massacre even among the peaceful opponents, including the father of the deserter.
