La Luna en el Espejo plot

Fat Beadle's life task is to nurse his paralyzed father, a former naval officer. His needy father keeps an eye on his hallways by means of mirrors. That depresses the son greatly. The neighbor, a slightly older but attractive and crystal-clear widow, now and then offers a helping hand and is the contact with the outside world. The father notices that a relationship is developing and looks at it with suspicion. He feels threatened. Should he stand in the way of the boy's happiness or should he take care of his own life?
