La Hija de Todas las Rabias plot
In a garbage dump in Managua, eleven-year-old María lives her life with her mother and their dogs. The girl has a great imagination, but one day accidentally poisons the four-legged friends. In desperation, her mother leaves María in a factory where she performs forced labour. Her loneliness gradually gives way to hatred for her mother and María learns to take care of herself. She joins a group of children who have a similar past.

Gripping drama about a young teenager who leads a hopeless existence on a vast garbage dump with her poverty-stricken mother. This film about life at the absolute bottom of society starts with shocking images of children looking for things among the rubbish that may still be useful. the young Ara Alejandra Medal plays an impressive leading role. A raw introduction to a film from Nicaragua that will stay with me for a while.
