La Hija Cóndor plot

Clara is a young, bright, and resourceful woman living in the Totorani community high in the Bolivian Andes. Her adoptive mother, Ana, has dutifully taught her the ancient tricks of the midwifery trade, including the tender Quechua songs that are said to help deliver newborns safely. But while Clara loves, respects, and is expected to carry on this tradition, she dreams of exploring the world on her own and perhaps even conquering the city with her gifted voice.
