Twelve-year-old Martin suddenly changes his behavior radically. He suddenly stops talking and smiling. His school friends discover that his mother died a few days ago. Martin fears he will be sent to an orphanage. His whole class helps with remembering the secret to the adults. This results in many exciting and amusing events.
