La Forza Bruta plot

Nell is forced to act as a mermaid by an unscrupulous impresario. One evening, tired and humiliated, Nell escapes and is helped by the portly Bob and little Pepe, two street performers. They become friends and soon enough are hired to perform in a circus. Nell turns out to be a talented trapeze artist who gets along very well with her colleague Fred. The two, who clearly feel something for each other, arouse a lot of jealousy.
