La Femme et le Pantin plot
Skirt hunter Don Mateo helps a woman on the train (Conchita) who is attacked by another woman. She makes cigarettes and visits Don Mateo in his palace in Seville. He falls in love with her but she leads him on. Sometimes she accepts his advances, sometimes she rejects him. When a young man offers her money, she accepts it at her mother's insistence and leaves Don Mateo. Months later, Mateo finds her in a nightclub where she also has a nude performance. He asks her to stop.
