La Coupe à Dix Francs plot

A true story of young workers at a furniture factory who are forced by the director to cut their long hair. The one who resists the longest is nevertheless cut short by pressure on his father, who needs the salary for family income. While his comrades appeal to the union, he sets himself on fire in protest in front of the factory gate.
