La Brigade Sauvage plot

A Russian general challenges a lieutenant whose wife was murdered by a jealous mistress. But in 1914 many officers are needed and the duel is cancelled. Twenty years later, the general sees this lieutenant again and wants to shoot him. Fortunately, he doesn't kill him, especially when he learns that his wife has always been faithful to him.
