La Bella Società plot
A journey through Sicily between the 60s and 70s that tells the fortunes of a number of characters who become involved in historical and personal events that will determine their fate and future: two brothers, Giuseppe and Giorgio and their mother Giovanna, who raised them alone among the vineyards of the Sicilian interior ; the lover of Giovanna, who disappears without a trace from the island, leaving his parents ignorant of his fate. Then there is the childhood friend of the two brothers, the son of the local pharmacist, who is no good and is chasing his parents' money. A serious accident affects one of the brothers and will change their lives forever. They end up in Turin for a short period where they meet a woman who threatens to break their strong bond.
