L'Humeur Vagabonde plot

Benoit leaves his wife, mother and child to go to Paris. Everyone seems the same there, except for the beautiful Myriam who shows an interest in him. Benoit returns to Charente where his mother killed his wife because she believed she was committing adultery. Benoit then decides to visit Myriam again in Paris, but he does not stay with her for long.
