L'Équilibre de la Terreur plot
It is winter. The Paris suburbs are once again engulfed in flames as some young people celebrate the New Year by setting fire to as many cars as possible. In an apartment are some of the troublemakers, Amar and his older brother, Gerard-Ahmed. The latter recently returned from a terrorist training camp. He seems to have given up his fight and Amar brutally lets him know how he despises him and considers him a coward.
