The seemingly perfect life of the 37-year-old career woman and mother Johanna is completely turned upside down when one night she gives birth completely unexpectedly. Johanna is completely panicked and leaves the newborn baby in a deserted place. The baby survives, but Johanna is accused of attempted infanticide. No one in her entourage seems to understand or believe that Johanna didn't know she was pregnant.
