Alex lives – as far as you can call life – in the Centre-Sud neighborhood in Montreal. Alex spends his days here following a set routine: scoring drugs, finding a place to sleep, on someone's couch, or sneaking into a hospital waiting room. He offers his body for a few dollars and hopes to find true love again. As we follow Alex, we also come across Bruno, Simon, Jeanne, Éric and Velma, who all lead similar lives. They are feverishly looking to break through the grim reality that threatens to lead to self-destruction.
