L'Aigle à Deux Têtes plot
The Queen has been living in seclusion for 10 years since her husband was murdered, with her face covered behind a veil. She desires nothing more than to accompany her husband in death. Stanislas, a poet who writes under the name Azrael, is a suicidal anarchist whose desire for the queen has turned into hatred for being unreachable. He wants to kill her and then kill herself, but when he invades her room, she falls in love with him because of his resemblance to the king. Stanislas then tries to regain his political power. Meanwhile, the enemies of the kings plot all kinds of evil plans.
