L'Afrance plot
A Senegalese student, Hajj, wants to return to his country after his studies to apply all his knowledge. But after an incident, all his ideals are jeopardized: Haj forgot to renew his residence permit. When he is arrested, like many without papers, he personally experiences the strictness of French law. El Hadj meets other Africans who make him doubt the future possibilities in his own country. He also gets to know a young, very independent French woman who challenges his values and ideals.
