L'Abbaglio plot

“Even impostors are useful.” So says the wise, cunning Colonel Orsini, who leads an army from Northern Italy to liberate Sicily from the rule of the French Bourbons and unite the country. However, the attitudes and behavior of Sicilians are often mysterious to Northerners, and so Orsini places great value on game-like strategies of deception, trickery, and silence. He even has a soft spot for two deserters, explosives expert Domenico and card game impostor Rosario, who escape to pursue their own adventures. When General Garibaldi sends Orsini on a potentially suicidal detour, any tactic is permitted.
