"5 Years"

The life story of Murat Kurnaz, a young man of Turkish descent from Bremen, Germany. He is 19 years old when he is arrested and tortured in a six-square-foot cell at the US Guantanamo Bay Detention Center. No explanation why. No proof. No research. How he ended up in that situation remains a mystery. Murat is the main character in a story that shows how the system works within Guantanamo Bay. A system that comes across as the superlative of absurdism.
